CountUp - Privacy Policy

MobilBoyut ("we", "us", or "our") built the CountUp app as a freemium application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

CountUp does not collect any personal information. All counter data (names, values, settings) is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Data Storage

• Local Storage: Your counter data is stored only on your device.
• Local Backup: When you use the local backup feature, data is saved to your device storage.
• Google Drive Backup: If you choose to use Google Drive backup, your counter data is stored in your own Google Drive account. We do not have access to your Google Drive data.

3. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

Google AdMob

• We display ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app.
• AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for ad personalization.
• Ad content is filtered to "General Audiences" (G-rated) to ensure family-friendly ads.
• You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase.

Google Play Billing

• Used for processing the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.
• All payment processing is handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Google Sign-In & Google Drive API

• Used only when you choose to backup/restore data via Google Drive.
• We only request access to app-specific data in your Google Drive.
• We do not access any other files in your Google Drive.

4. In-App Purchases

CountUp offers a one-time "Remove Ads" purchase. This transaction is processed entirely through Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details.

5. Children's Privacy

CountUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is suitable for all ages. Ads displayed in the app are filtered to be appropriate for general audiences.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your counter data remains on your device (or in your own Google Drive if you choose to use that backup option).

7. Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time using the "Delete All Data" option in the app's About screen. You can also uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data. If you used Google Drive backup, you can delete the backup files from your Google Drive.

8. Permissions

• Internet: Required for displaying ads, Google Drive backup, and in-app purchases.
• Vibration: Optional haptic feedback when counting.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
