MobilBoyut ("we", "us", or "our") built the Kismet app as a freemium application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information:
- Phone Number: We collect your phone number for SMS-based authentication (OTP verification). Your phone number is stored securely on our servers to identify your account.
- Social Login: If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email address as provided by these services.
Photos:
- You provide coffee cup photos for fortune readings. These photos are sent to our servers for AI processing and are stored temporarily to generate your reading.
Fortune Data:
- Your fortune readings and chat history are stored on our servers so you can access them later.
Usage Data:
- We collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics to improve the app experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Authentication: Your phone number is used solely for account verification via SMS OTP.
- Fortune Readings: Your coffee cup photos are processed by AI to generate personalized fortune readings.
- Service Improvement: Anonymous analytics data helps us understand how the app is used and improve its features.
- Purchase Management: To manage your credit balance and purchase history.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Your account data, fortune readings, and chat history are stored on our secure servers.
- We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
- Photos are processed securely and are not shared with third parties beyond what is necessary for AI processing.
4. Third-Party Services
Our app uses the following third-party services:
AI Processing (Anthropic Claude)
Firebase (Google)
Google Play Billing
- Used for processing in-app credit purchases.
- All payment processing is handled by Google Play. We do not collect or store any payment information.
SMS Services (İletiMerkezi / BudgetSMS)
- Used to send OTP verification codes to your phone number.
- Your phone number is shared with these services only for the purpose of sending verification codes.
Google Sign-In & Facebook Login
- Used as optional authentication methods.
- We only receive basic profile information (name and email) as permitted by your account settings.
5. In-App Purchases
Kismet offers credit packages for fortune readings. All transactions are processed through Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment details.
6. Children's Privacy
Kismet is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is only shared with third-party services as described in Section 4, solely for the purpose of providing app functionality.
8. Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account data, fortune history, and any stored photos from our servers.
9. Permissions
- Internet: Required for authentication, AI processing, purchases, and syncing data.
- Camera: Required to capture coffee cup photos for fortune readings.
- Storage: Used for saving and accessing photos on your device.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
